This mandatory course is designed to help Volunteers to be able to identify culturally appropriate and safe behavior in dating in Indonesia.

Welcome to Peace Corps Indonesia Training Space!

We are very excited about ID13 group arrival to Indonesia in September 2019. As part of our intensive preparations for your arrival, the training team has introduced (for the first time in PC/Indonesia history) this online Training Space/Resource Library for ID12 Trainees. This online resource library will have all Pre Service Training (PST) and In Service Training (IST) materials available in one location. This approach is designed to be user-friendly and efficient, and to bring you heightened confidence in your upcoming learning process.

The Training Space is a live library. The team will be adding materials as we go. In most cases you’ll get a notification from the team that new materials have been uploaded, but please check it on weekly basis. As this will require internet access, we are providing you with Wi-fi in each link class that you can use to access materials. The Wi-fi is accessible specifically for training related purposes; once you arrive to Indonesia we will provide detailed instructions on how to purchase your own data plans for personal purposes.

Although off-line materials remain as an option (hard copy, USB thumb drive), we strongly suggest using the Training Space. Hence, please feel encouraged to have your laptop, tablet or/and smart phone with you during service.

Should you have any questions always feel free to reach out to the Training Manager, Helena Olivia at holivia@peacecorps.gov or the Technical Training Coordinator, Listia Khairunnisa at lkhairunnisa@peacecorps.gov, or the Language and Cross-Cultural Coordinator, Zainah Rahmiati at zrahmiati@peacecorps.gov, or the Training and Evaluation Assistant, Rusli Halim at rhalim@peacecorps.gov.

With warm Indonesian regards,
The Training Team
