The purpose of this course is to give Peace Corps invitees some form of basic language to be able greet and respond to greetings; ask for personal information and respond to being asked for personal information; and be able to introduce themselves and others in Sepedi and Xitsonga languages as soon as they arrive in the country. This will surely help with their integration into the community. They will be able to distinguish how to greet and introduce people in the community according to their age, and status. This will also serve as a motivation for them to speak with the locals in their target language
