The objective of the Tech Exchange workshop is for the IT Specialists to use the competencies learned at the CIE Conference as building blocks for a practical experience,  translating the information they have received into a meaningful experience which can later be shared with the end users through recognizable and familiar standard operating procedures thus providing  a better support to Post staff and volunteers. They will also share best practices, write and submit for review to the OCIO technical fact sheets about innovative solutions they have developed at their posts. These fact sheets, if approved, will later be shared across the agency.

The 11 participant countries are (in alphabetical order): Benin, Cameroon, Ghana, Guinea, The Gambia, Liberia, Morocco, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Tanzania, and Togo.
