Description: The purpose of this required course is to provide an overview of how to manage basic emergency situations at post prior to completing your full overseas staff training (OST) program. 

As a result of completing this course, the learner will be able to:

• Articulate Peace Corps policies and procedures related to volunteer safety and security
• Describe recommendations on what to do and what not to do when responding to an emergency event
  
• Discuss staying safe while living abroad
