Responding to Crimes Against Volunteers

Description: The purpose of this required course is to provide an overview of how the Peace Corps handles crimes that are committed against Volunteers at post. 

As a result of completing this course, the learner will be able to:  

  • Recognize the classification of security incidents
  • Find the resource(s) for crimes against Volunteers policies & procedures
  • Recap the minimum standards for responding to a crime
  • Describe the use of the Security Incident Management System (SIMS)
  • State the purpose of Coordinated Agency Response (CARS) calls
