Description: The purpose of this required course is to provide an overview of how the Peace Corps handles crimes that are committed against Volunteers at post.
As a result of completing this course, the learner will be able to:
- Recognize the classification of security incidents
- Find the resource(s) for crimes against Volunteers policies & procedures
- Recap the minimum standards for responding to a crime
- Describe the use of the Security Incident Management System (SIMS)
- State the purpose of Coordinated Agency Response (CARS) calls
